Am I Really Hungry

Okay so I talked to the dietician last tuesday, about stalled weight loss. So she advised me to increase to 2 protien shakes a day and 2 small meals. Well the first 2 days I did not feel hungry. but the next 2 days I felt like I was starving to death. So I increased my water. I am doing okay and I have lost about 8 lbs in a week. Yay for me. I sure hope it will be easier when I have surgery. The hungry part of it. Then I found out the Cardiologist over charged me and they owe me close to 80 bucks..... It has been a good week. I had a great Birthday and life is good.

Dinner Tonight

Okay so I tried a new thing for dinner tonight. Keep in mind I have not had my surgery yet so if you have adjust your portion.

Baked Talpia

Get small bag of Talipia like 12oz Frozen
( I got this in freezer section at krogers)
Pepper
Garlic powder
Season salt
Foil
Non stick spray

Pre heat oven to 350
open your bag the fish should be in individual sealed bags which is good for individual pieces
line cookie sheet with foil spray it lighly with spray.
lay fish on cookie sheet and then use pepper then garlic powder and use garlic powder sparingly unless you like garlic then spinkle season salt flip fish and do all the seasons on the other side
Bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until flaky with a fork.

now i also had a side salad and cottage cheese and tomatoes with it. very filling and great taste. Enjoy......

My 39th Birthday Lunch

This is Pre-op I am down 23lbs and no I did not eat the whip cream. I am not fond of whip cream any way. Yes it was a Mexican resturant. No I did not eat eveything on my plate was it healthy not really but I am still Pre-op and it was my birthday will I do this again? No way. We had fun and no alcohol was consumed.. I know it sounds whimpy but I don't drink at all anymore. You do not recover well and it just isn't as fun as it was when I was in my 20's... So thank you to my Family for taking me out for an early Birthday Lunch. My birthday is the 20th.

Sorry ......

Okay so I am New to this whole blog thing and yes I have been bad about not blogging already well it was only 2 weeks. Remember I still and pre-op as far as my surgery, Well I kind of lost my head and have been eating real bad. ie.. soda's and fast food. Yes I am a Fast Food Junky, with a big Capital F. It has been a bad month of eating. So fighting old habits and demons and thinking that I still have a month left to the last appt with no gains, I feel like I should beable to eat what ever I want right? Okay so I wa wrong way wrong. I am however back on track and have lost 2 of the 7 lbs that I gained last month. That is right ladies and gents. I gained 7lbs in one month. It is easy to do with Pizza and taco's man. Those besides coke are my favorite things. So now that I am on track, Pizza is thin crust with veggies and home made chicken taco's with black beans and lots of lettuce. Back to Poweraide Zero grape flavor. It is all about staying on track and true to your self so to date I am still down 20lbs and need to lose 10 more this month. well if I stay on track for the next 4 weeks I just may do that.. So Sorry for the non blog period promise at least toblog on tueday andthursday and sundays. He He have to fit it into my work out schedule... Thanks for your continued support.

Not only did they do a wonderful job but the fellowship that they provided us and the support has been a week I will never forget. On to the good part. These kids made a great dinner, back to the food. it was a baked potatoe with barbeque and salad my favorite part, and also dessert which is famous around here Banana pudding. Can anyone say Yum..... Stuck to diet and even rebuffed my mom when she asked to stop at Mickey D's for a smoothie. Yeah for me. Yall have a great night, onward to tommorrow.......

FOOD INC

Well I had to blog about this movie. Last night my sister and I went to my support group. They decided to show the first 45 minutes of the movie. Not a good movie to watch before having weight loss surgery. If you were confused about what to eat before it really makes you think you will be starving for protien after surgery. It shows Chickens and Cows, not being treated very good and alot about ecoli and such. I will be thinking twice about eating fastfood and thats not a bad idea. No burgers or Tyson Chicken for this girl......

Well a blogin I will go...

Well lets see how this all turns out. This my first blog ever. But with much thought and veiwing other peoples blogs about wieghtloss, what the heck. Well I have started this journey way back in January. I went to my first Bariatric Seminar with Dr. Garth Davis of the Davis Clinic. I was very impressed and made my first appt. for march 1st. The davis clinic encourage you to take advantage of their support group that meets once a month. so I started with that in Feb, 2010.

My first appt with Dr. Garth (we call him that ) was pretty interesting but I felt like I was in the dark about my dietician class. which with my insurance I have to do 6 months worth. April I went to my 1st dietician class and it was a blast Stephanie is the dietician and she is so much fun.

Now here I am 2weeks before my 5th class which is august the 3rd, I have lost close to 29 pounds, Dr garth wants me to lose 30 and I joined Cruves. One month down 4inches and loving it my butt is getting so firm. I still have a lot of Junk in the trunk though. Had my Physic eval and just need Cardiac clearence. and I will see Dr. Garth and do my last dieticain class the first week in September. So I hope I did not bore ya'll.
